With a background in software and logistics business, Pawli’s career has been extremely international.
“I have worked practically all my work career in ‘exports’ – in other words, I worked and lived abroad,” says Pawli.
Pawli has most experience in the Scandinavian, European and Russian markets, in addition to which he has accumulated experience from Asia and the United States. He has participated in taking many Finnish companies international, headed BasWare Inc.’s Scandinavian business, worked as the head of international sales at GoodMood Productions and as the sales director at 2ndhead Oy. Before coming to Granlund, Pawli worked as the head of Itella Corporation’s global sales and Scandinavian business.
Granlund’s business area is a new experience for Pawli. He says that the internationalisation of the company is at an interesting stage, and he wants to offer his expertise to this endeavour.
“I will bring with me my experience of taking companies international. Internationalisation is usually a long and demanding process in which a competitive product, the support of head office, the right choices and a fearless attitude must be included in one package. If you succeed in this, the road will be easier to travel. At Granlund, these things are in place.”
Pawli emphasises Granlund’s strong expertise in a growing industry. The opportunities for international growth are significant in an industry offering solutions to future challenges.
