Haiyan Zhang has been appointed as Technical Manager for Granlund Group Asia as of 1 June, 2018. Zhang joined Granlund from his own company GreenClima, where he was responsible for the distribution of Swegon products. Previously he has worked for Swegon, Daikin Marine and Toshiba Carrier in Shanghai.
Expert in HVAC and building management systems
“I like the Nordic company culture and enjoy working with the International Granlund team, which has been helpful and supportive from the day I joined the company. I look forward to being able to help Granlund build its business in the Chinese markets in my role as a technical manager,” says Zhang.
Zhang is an expert in HVAC and building management systems and uniquely suited to help Granlund build its business in the Chinese markets. Zhang´s new role will include presales support, software implementation, end user training and aftersales support.
Growing demand for maintenance systems in the hotel sector
“Granlund Manager is an excellent product that is well-suited for the Chinese markets. There´s a growing demand for maintenance systems especially in the hotel sector. I believe Granlund has a chance to do very well in China,” Zhang adds.
Zhang is based in Granlund’s Shanghai office. He reports to David Leff-Hallstein, Sales Director in China and works closely with Jing Xu, IT Specialist, Software, and Veikko Martiskainen, Director of Granlund Manager Services.
