The two-day event brought together over 300 influential figures from the property sector, as well as the United Arab Emirates’ property ownership agency. The main talking points at the event were energy efficiency and energy saving in existing properties, as well as whether renovation is the only way to reach energy-savings targets.
The event included a presentation of the energy savings achieved using the ESCO model, as well as a more traditional model whereby maintenance processes are adjusted from the perspective of energy efficiency. Various examples were analysed under both models and separate panel discussions were held.
Granlund Manager was presented to several different parties at the event and the software stirred up considerable interest, particularly among property owners.
Granlund Manager’s international team obtained a lot of additional information from the event regarding organisations operating in the area, along with confirmation of its own activities.
”We arranged a large number of follow-ups with various parties and we are highly satisfied with the event. All in all, the conference and the discussions we were involved in there confirmed that we are sending all the right messages,” says Jyrki Pikkarainen, who represented Granlund at the conference.
The conference was held on 14 and 15 March at the Park Hyatt Dubai Creek Hotel.
