Granlund enters the Chinese Market

Granlund has signed on three pilot agreements in China with Glodon, ABB and Radisson Blu Hotel.

Granlunds target is to localize Manager software and to get experience from local usage and understand the market dynamics for property management in China. For Glodon Software Granlund provides energy efficiency and service requests. Radisson Blu Hotels pilot agreement  involves preventive maintenance and ABB is interested in service requests.

Vice president Jan Pawli from Granlund International is pleased how things are evolving in China.
– We have opened local office in Beijing to support and ensure success of pilots and to prepare further extension of business in China, he says.

Chinese property management market is still evolving. Examination of costs to property owners is coming more important for many reasons.

– In China there are 12 million square metres in office spaces and 65 million square metres in shopping malls. And the numbers are growing all the time.  At the same time green building, energy and labour efficiency are growing trends. With the help of Granlund software, property owners can not only save costs by energy savings and process streamlining, but can also get better visibility and transparency within their maintenance, Pawli explains.
