Granlund´s Middle East office participated in the premier facilities management industry fair, the FM Expo in Dubai on 23-25 September in the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event featured a wide range of educational and engaging conferences, talks and workshops that cover current trends and issues within facilities management sector.
Stimulating exchange of ideas with visitors
The event proved a very successful venue for Granlund.
“We had stimulating exchange of ideas at the expo with visitors and other industry influencers. Granlund Manager’s unique forerunning features are interesting for the market,” says Pasi Oksanen, the Regional Director for Granlund Group´s Middle Eastern region.
Growing interest in Granlund Manager´s energy and cost savings features
Several discussions with fair visitors revealed that there is a growing interest in the Energy and PO metering and monitoring systems of Granlund Manager.
It was also noted how Granlund Manager can generate energy and cost savings, as well as how it is used for optimization.
Virtual property and building information models
Virtual property, a new tool within Granlund Manager, supports the management of maintenance processes. The solution enables an effective use of maintenance management systems and introduces Building Information Models (BIM) to property maintenance.
“We have noted the growing interest in the Middle East market towards our Building Information Models (BIM). When these are added to Maintenance, Energy and Performance Optimization features, it is possible to create huge savings,” Oksanen says.
