Granlund strengthening its presence in Southeast Asia

More than 130 chief engineers, key suppliers and partners engaged in the Malaysian hotel industry attended the 2018 Malaysia Hotel Engineering Association Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on April 20, 2018.

The one-day exhibition arranged by the Malaysia Hotel Engineering Association in Kuala Lumpur brought together a variety of local and international stakeholders in the Malaysian hotel industry for networking and sharing engineering best practices, new technologies and environmental issues.

Granlund set up an exhibition booth with the aims of strengthening its presence in the Southeast Asia region and promoting the Granlund Manager software.

“There was great interest in Granlund and our offering, and the outcome of the event was very successful. We were able to establish several new potential customers and partners in the hotel business in Malaysia, and continue discussions with them in the months ahead,“ said David Leff-Hallstein, Sales Director, Granlund China.

“We also met a couple of potential lead partners and value-added resellers, who showed great interest in becoming our partners. With the help from local partners we are able to increase our presence and activities in the region,” Leff-Hallstein continued.

The exhibition reaffirmed that many hotels are at this time looking for property management software such as Granlund Manager to make their maintenance process more efficient by switching from a paper-based models to a digital, cloud-based solutions.

“Looking from Granlund Manager´s perspective, I have a very positive outlook for Malaysia and the overall Southeast Asia region,” added Leff-Hallstein.
