Karlskrona municipality in Southern Sweden gained clear savings with Granlund Manager – five million euros during the past five years. Granlund Manager gives visibility and control to energy consumption as well as to maintenance actions. These features were fully utilized during the energy optimization project that Karlskrona municipality carried out, and notable savings were gained.
Another outcome of the project was related to the municipality’s everyday work: the operations and service management unit has gained a full visibility of the whole energy consumption. The unit has also got a list of actions needed for further energy savings, and an understanding of the impact of these actions.
Granlund Manager system is designed to support a large number of users. The solution is widely used by Karlskrona’s management and operational personnel throughout the municipal properties with a building area of over 400,000 m².
