Granlund is announcing its key partnership in working with Business Finland in the construction of the Finnish Pavilion. Granlund will also showcase Granlund Manager and Building Information Model (BIM) design in the “Snow Cape”, the pavilion building inspired by a white tent covered by snow that combines Finnish design, nature and innovation with Arabic visual features.
The planning of the pavilion is underway and its construction will be finished by autumn 2020.
Connecting Minds, Creating the Future
The World Expo 2020 held in Dubai from 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021 will host more than 180 countries under the theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”. The 2020 World´s Fair is the first to be held in an Arabic-speaking region and is expected to attract 25 million visits, with an unprecedented 70 per cent of visitors projected to come from outside the United Arab Emirates.
A platform for Finnish companies
The Finnish pavilion will function as a platform for Finnish companies to improve their visibility in international markets. In addition to accelerating internalization and networking in the Persian Gulf and the Near East regions, attending the World Expo will help participating companies find new partners, experts and networks in Asia, East Africa and all around the world.
