Granlund to participate in Europe’s largest data center event

Europe’s largest data center event Datacloud Europe will be held in Monaco in June. The event will bring together some 180 experts from around the world, including Granlund’s Jari Innanen, Director of the Mission Critical Department, and Timo Ranne, Leader of the Consulting Team.

“Granlund is part of the Invest in Finland stand together with other Finnish data center operators such as Telia Finland,” says Innanen. “Participants at the event include data center designers, consultants, builders and operators from many countries, so for us, this is a great networking opportunity.”

The two-day event includes presentations about the most topical subjects in the field, such as blockchain technologies, data center automation, IoT, fast data and artificial intelligence.

“The services we provide are very comprehensive, so it’s important for us to hear what’s going on in the field and get to learn about new ideas.”

Data center know-how from Finland to abroad

Granlund’s Mission Critical department was established in 2012. It is the consulting and design market leader in its field in Finland, and a significant operator in the Nordic and Baltic countries.

“We designed the first data centers more than 20 years ago, and after the department was established, our annual growth rate has been up to 40%,” states Innanen.

Granlund is looking to increase its international data center operations.

“We have gained a lot of international attention with our reception services, which ensure the functionality of the data centers, and we have already taken the first steps in Sweden, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia and China. In Monaco, I expect us to meet plenty of field professionals with an interest in hearing about the design and consulting services we offer outside Finland.”
