Granlund began its collaboration with Hilton Hotels in Beijing in November 2017 with the aim of modernizing the day-to-day facility management of the Hilton Beijing Capital Airport Hotel. Once implemented, the Granlund Manager CMMS software system resulted in impressive improvements at the Airport property prompting the Hilton Beijing Hotel to implement the Granlund Manager to update their maintenance processes and productivity.
“The Hilton Beijing was in the process of searching for a suitable engineering software that would increase our agility when dealing with engineering issues within the hotel, the hotel aimed to increase accuracy and the speed at which issues were resolved. Granlund Manager´s implementation combined with renovation
The Hilton Beijing Hotel was built over 25 years ago and is the second oldest western hotel chain in Beijing. It is located in the Liangmaqiao district, close to downtown Beijing and the Third Ring Road.
The 506-room hotel is undergoing a significant renovation project and needs a system like Granlund Manager to ensure that the hotel´s technical systems and guest rooms remain in good condition in the coming years.
Quick implementation and good prospects for Granlund Manager
Within a few weeks of Granlund Manager being implemented in the hotel, in order to ensure a smooth implementation process and tight deadlines, Granlund´s Technical Manager in China, Mr. Haiyan Zhang worked in close cooperation with the Hilton Beijing’s’ Chief Engineer, Mr Dick Dang, and his team.
