Granlund is opening a new branch in Kouvola on 14 January 2015. The location will be Granlund’s 14th location in Finland, strengthening the group’s local services in the Kymenlaakso region. Granlund employs over 500 people in Finland.
The Kouvola location will be part of Granlund Saimaa Oy. The companies’ services include building maintenance planning, energy consultancy and property management. In addition, the companies’ expertise includes maintenance planning for industrial electrification, industrial HVAC planning and logic-based automation planning.
Beginning on 1 January 2015, the position of regional manager of the Kouvola location will be filled by Juha Karjalainen, who brings over 30 years of experience in HVAC building maintenance planning and supervision. ”The location in Kouvola will facilitate a stronger service offering in the Kymenlaakso region. We will be able to draw on the expertise of the entire group,” says Karjalainen.
The Kouvola location is to become the leading operator in the Kymi region, with an intention to grow to a strength of 10–20 designers.
