Energy saving raised interest in Lithuania

Granlund’s partner Mepco organized a Granlund Manager seminar in the Embassy of Finland in Vilnius on November 14. The seminar raised interest, and especially energy saving was one of the hot topics of the day.

The Granlund Manager seminar was organized around the topics of modern facility management.

The audience was especially interested about energy metering systems and integrations. Also, performance optimization, energy and maintenance topics seemed to be of special interest.

“It was a very good seminar with a great open discussion and a lot of questions,” says Otto Åkerberg, Regional Manager, Scandinavia of Granlund, who was the keynote speaker.

“It seems that Lithuanian companies have growing interest towards a contemporary facility management system. The hot topic of the day was though energy saving,” Åkerberg emphasizes.

Counsellor, Deputy Head of Mission of Embassy of Finland, Maria Ågren opened the seminar with news about Finland 100 years events in Lithuania.

Key note speaker Otto Åkerberg explained how Granlund Manager is able to support cost and energy savings in buildings.

Managing Director of Mepco Mindaugas Simkus presented the system, gave examples of pricing, as well as talked about planned preventive maintenance, audit tool and the system’s mobility.

Executive Director Rubina Haapamäki presented compliments of Finnish Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce.

Alltogether 28 registered persons from different organizations attended the seminar.
